The Charlottesville Amtrak station is within easy walking distance to University of Virginia and the downtown mall. It is a staffed station with ticketing office, ticketing kiosks and accessible restrooms. The Amtrak station platform is accessible and offers a wheelchair and wheelchair lift. 

Parking: Same-day and overnight parking is available for a fee.

Getting Around

Charlottesville Area Transitoperates 11 routes and a free trolley Monday through Saturday from the early morning until the late evening. Sunday service is only available on the free trolley and select bus routes. Shared ride services, taxis, and Veo scooters and e-bikes also can help you get around the area.
