Lynchburg is a staffed station with accessible restrooms, ticketing office and kiosks. It is conveniently located next to the Greater Lynchburg Transit Company transfer station which provides local and intercity bus service. The Amtrak station platform is accessible and offers a wheelchair and wheelchair lift.

Parking: Same-day parking is available for a fee. Overnight station parking available for a fee.

Getting Around

The Greater Lynchburg Transit Company (GLTC) operates 16 routes in the City of Lynchburg and a portion of Madison Heights all week. GLTC’s transfer station is conveniently located adjacent to the Lynchburg Amtrak station on Kemper Street offering seamless connections to downtown Lynchburg, Liberty University and other popular destinations.
