The Virginia Passenger Rail Authority has acquired three segments of rail corridor from CSX (Segments 1, 2, and 3) and a portion of the Manassas Line rail corridor from Norfolk Southern. However, CSX and Norfolk Southern retained certain rights in these corridors. Click the map below for the location of each segment.

Segment Information:
Segment 1: RF&P Corridor
Due to Deed Restrictions for any property on Segment 1, all Third Party projects including utility requests must be processed by CSX.

Segment 2: S-line Corridors (VA & NC)
Due to the Deed Agreement for this Segment, VPRA has the non-exclusive right to approve public broadband.
