Potomac Creek Third Track
Potomac Creek Third Track will construct approximately 4 miles of third track in Stafford County between the Brooke and Fredericksburg stations.
Project Summary
The Leeland Road Overpass project is a project that proposes to replace the existing roadway bridge over the existing CSX tracks in the vicinity of VRE Leeland Road Station. This bridge replacement project will increase the horizontal and vertical clearance of the roadway bridge to allow for a third track and future fourth track.
The Potomac Creek Third Track will increase network fluidity and reduce delays due to passenger and freight train congestion.
